Balcony Skylight Shading System

The Balcony Skylight Shade features a spring tension device hidden within the top rail and a movable middle rail joined together using durable nylon lift cords. A lift handle is attached to the movable rail and when operated the spring tension device holds the shade in the desired position. Because the lift mechanisms rely on nylon cords the Balcony is flexible enough to be used vertically or horizontally but can’t handle a tremendous amount of weight and so there are severe size restrictions particularly with the heavier blackout fabric.

Soprano Skylight Shading System

The Soprano Skylight Shade features an innovative gear and groove design that allows the skylight shade to glide smoothly and effortlessly within the gear track (think bicycle chain attached to rear sprocket). There is a lift handle attached to the movable rail and locks desired position the Soprano locks in place. The Soprano can accommodate more weight (larger shade sizes) than the Balcony but is not as flexible in terms of available angles (slope) and can only be used horizontally.
