The Balcony™ Skylight Shade is mounted on a unique track system that can be used
vertically, horizontally and even on angles (like skylights) for maximum
versatility. The Balcony™ Skylight Shade features a spring tension device hidden
within the top rail and a movable middle rail joined together using durable
nylon lift cords. The Balcony™ is flexible enough to be used vertically or
horizontally but can't handle a tremendous amount of weight and so there are
severe size restrictions particularly with the heavier blackout fabric
Comfortex Skylight Shades are made using insulating Energy Smart Cellular
Fabrics that filter and help decrease the intensity of summer sun. The
Balcony™
sidetracks close gaps around the window and stop heat from seeping inside. In
addition to energy efficiency, these fabric and hardware combinations block out
nearly 100% of ultraviolet light to protect your home furnishings from sun
damage.
Balcony™ Skylight Shades are child safe with no exposed cords, is relatively easy to
install and the non-woven fabrics are inherently anti-static and repel dust, but
occasional feather dusting or vacuuming may be necessary to keep the fabrics
clean and bright.
